Carbone in Los Angeles

Major Food Group and co-founders Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi's chic Italian-American restaurant brings back an era of glamour with tableside service featuring dishes like Lobster Fra Diavolo and Spicy Rigatoni. The dining room itself is stunning - an oversized space gives the impression of being in a ballroom; service captains in maroon tuxedos pull mozzarella, toss Caesar salads at tables and slice veal chops on demand!

While some of their more ambitious dishes - like carpaccio piemontese and tuna tartare - may fall short (tuna tastes too soft, while carpaccio has no salt) others - particularly spicy rigatoni which ranks amongst one of the city's finest pasta dishes - more than make up for any disappointing items on the menu.

Carbone offers more than dinner; they also serve lunch and brunch. Carbone has long been a favorite with celebrities and socialites (Jennifer Lopez can often be seen dining here!) plus there's even a bar!
