Beverly Hills will soon welcome another premier restaurant: The Hideaway in Baja California is set to open for business starting the first week of August and is quickly gaining steam as one of its standout eateries. Created by party producer Jeffrey Best (known for planning Britney Spears' wedding and party) alongside Ken Jones of Warwick and nightlife vet Sylvain Bitton from Warwick - as well as celebrities Ryan Phillippe and Evan Ross as investors - The Hideaway promises an experience not soon forgotten!
Rodeo Collection shopping mall features Best and his team's restaurant as part of the "Rodeo" complex, designed by them with vintage yet modern in mind. Terracotta tile patio with cream wrought-iron tables and leather booths add an antique vibe, as does an accent wall of handmade pottery from Mexico with open archways leading to intimate dining nooks - plus tableside buttons reading "Push for Tequila" are at hand to bring drinks directly to you upon demand!
Chef Alex Moreno and Viet Pham (of Studio City's Habana) created The Hideaway menu with an eclectic blend of coastal Baja dishes as well as classic steakhouse fare. For starters, sample Hernando's Chic Chop Salad or Pescado Zarandeado (grilled branzino with salsa verde, salsa roja and charred lemon). Other delicious non-steak offerings include swordfish grilled swordfish lobster tortilla soup or wild king salmon with mango-papaya relish relish. It has quickly become a Yelp favorite with an impressive 4.5 star rating since its opening!
